The pain and struggles of parents with autistic children in extremely poor families are understood by very few. In our country, many charitable organizations and individuals generously provide food for the needy and education for the underprivileged. However, there are very few who dedicate themselves to helping in this particular area. Working with these children is exceptionally challenging and requires a great deal of effort.
For the past six years, we have been the only organization in Bangladesh striving to provide free medical treatment, education, and food supplies to the autistic children born into impoverished families, aiming to give them a healthy life. Without our support, these little ones would either end up begging or remain confined to their homes. Their situation is heart-wrenching. They are so poor that their families struggle to provide even three meals a day. The fathers of these children might be rickshaw pullers, while their mothers work as domestic help.
At present, 52 children are receiving treatment at our center, with 128 more are on the waiting list. Our school is providing education to 32 special needs children. Additionally, we are supplying food to the families of 71 poor autistic children every month. We also provide training to the parents of these children, with 100 to 200 parents participating monthly.
We humbly request your support in this noble cause. You or your organization can help these helpless and poor autistic children recover and lead healthier lives through monthly, annual, CSR, or one-time donations. Through your generous heart, their lives can be transformed.

We realized that there are many physically handicapped and Autistic children around us. If they could give regular treatments, they would have returned to a much healthier normal life. Our organization “Alokito Poth” (Enlightened Path) started working with these children from January 2019.
Generally, the cost of such long-term treatment cannot be afforded by many poor families. As a result, many physically challenged and Autistic children around us are deprived of a better life. Our endeavor is to make them fit for the society.
Many physically handicapped and Autistic children are benefiting from coming to our charity organization. Many parents have called for expanding our institution's medical care . We believe we can extend the scope of our services very soon.

“অলোকিত পথ”
একটি সেবামূলক প্রতিষ্ঠান যেখানে আমরা শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধী এবং অটিস্টিক শিশুদের জন্য কাজ করি।
অতি দরিদ্র পরিবারে অটিজমে আক্রান্ত শিশুদের বাবা মায়ের কষ্ট খুব কম মানুষই বুঝতে পারেন। আমাদের দেশের অনেক সেবামূলক প্রতিষ্ঠান এবং ব্যক্তিবর্গ বিনামূল্যে দরিদ্রদের খাবার দিচ্ছেন, সুবিধাবঞ্চিতদেরকে শিক্ষা দিচ্ছেন। কিন্তু এই বিষয়ে খুব কম প্রতিষ্ঠানই এবং ব্যক্তিবর্গ কাজ করছেন। ওদেরকে নিয়ে কাজ করা অনেক বেশী কষ্টসাধ্য এবং চ্যালেঞ্জিং।
বাংলাদেশে একমাত্র আমরাই গত ছয় বছর ধরে দরিদ্র পরিবারে জন্ম নেওয়া অটিস্টিক শিশুদেরকে সম্পূর্ণ বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা, শিক্ষা এবং খাদ্য সমগ্রী দিয়ে সুস্থ জীবন দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করছি। তা না হলে, হয় এই ছোট্ট ছোট্ট শিশুরা ভিক্ষা করতো নতু্বা বাসায় বন্দী থাকতো। তাদের অবস্থা খুবই করুন। তারা এতটাই গরীব যে তিনবেলা খাবারের ব্যবস্থা করতেও সক্ষম নয়। এই শিশুদের পরিবারের কারো বাবা রিকশা চালান, কারো মা বাসা বাড়িতে কাজ করেন।
আমদের এখানে বর্তমানে চিকিৎসাসেবা নিচ্ছে ৫২ জন শিশু এবং অপেক্ষমান আছে ১২৮ জন। আমাদের স্কুলে লেখাপড়া করছে ৩২ জন বিশেষ চাহিদা সম্পন্ন শিশু। সেই সাথে প্রতিমাসে আমরা অটিজমে আক্রান্ত ৭১ জন শিশুর পরিবারকে খাদ্য সামগ্রী প্রদান করছি। তাছাড়াও আমরা প্রতিমাসে অটিজমে আক্রান্ত শিশুদের পিতা-মাতাদেরকেও (১০০ থেকে ২০০ জন) ট্রেনিং দিচ্ছি।
বিনীত অনুরোধ, এই মহৎ কাজে আপনি আমাদের পাশে থাকুন। আপনি অথবা আপনার প্রতিষ্ঠান প্রতিমাসে বা বার্ষিকভাবে, CSR কিংবা এককালীন অনুদানের মাধ্যমে এই অসহায় ও দরিদ্র অটিস্টিক শিশুদেরকে সুস্থ করে তুলতে পারেন। আপনার মহৎ হৃদয়ের মাধ্যমেই বদলে যাবে তাদের জীবন।
মহান আল্লাহপাক আপনাদের মঙ্গল করুন। দরিদ্র বিশেষ শিশুগুলো সুস্থ ও স্বাভাবিক জীবনে ফিরে আসুক আপনাদের উছিলায়।
আমাদের যাত্রার শুরুটা একেবারেই সাদামাটা। ২০১৬ সালের মার্চ মাস থেকে আমাদের যাত্রা শুরু হয়। তখন বিভিন্ন বস্তিতে গিয়ে বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা পরামর্শ এবং ওষুধ পত্র বিতরণ করতাম আমরা। আমাদের দলে অবসরপ্রাপ্ত সরকারি কর্মকর্তা, কলেজের প্রফেসর, ব্যবসায়ী, ছাত্র সবাই মনের টানে এই সেবা মূলক কাজে সম্পৃক্ত হয়। এইভাবে দুই বছর অতিক্রম করার পর আমরা এ কাজগুলোকে আরো সুন্দরভাবে করার জন্য একটা প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক নাম দিলাম "আলোকিত পথ"। ইংরেজিতে “Enlightened Path”.
আমরা অনুধাবন করলাম যে, আমাদের চারপাশে অনেক শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধী এবং অটিস্টিক শিশু আছে। তাদেরকে নিয়মিত চিকিৎসা দিতে পারলে তারা অনেকটা সুস্থ স্বাভাবিক জীবন ফিরে পেত। আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠান "আলোকিত পথ" এইসব শিশুদের নিয়ে কাজ শুরু করে জানুয়ারি ২০১৯ থেকে।
সাধারণত এই ধরনের দীর্ঘমেয়াদি চিকিৎসার খরচ অনেক দরিদ্র পরিবারের পক্ষে বহন করা সম্ভব হয় না। যার ফলে আমাদের আশেপাশে অনেক শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধী এবং অটিস্টিক শিশু একটি ভাল জীবনের সুযোগ থেকে বঞ্চিত হয়। আমাদের চেষ্টা তাদেরকে সমাজে চলার জন্য উপযুক্ত করে তৈরী করে দেওয়া।
বর্তমানে অনেক শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধী এবং অটিস্টিক শিশু আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠানে এসে অনেক উপকৃত হচ্ছে। অনেক অভিভাবকরা দাবি করেছেন আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠানের চিকিৎসা সেবাকে আরো বর্ধিত করার জন্য। আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, আমরা আমাদের সেবার পরিধি আরও বর্ধিত করতে পারবো খুব শীঘ্রই।
