“Alokito Poth”
We are providing medical treatments and education to the poor physically challenged and autistic children for the last 6 years at free of cost.
Many charity organizations in our country are giving free food to the poor, educating the disadvantaged. But very few organizations are working with the Special Children. Working with them is much more challenging.
The treatments of the Autistic Children are not like one day medicine. They cannot be healed in one day. Take medicine today and after two days they are not recovered. It takes 1 to 2 years to bring them back to a normal life.
They need regular speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. Moreover this treatment has to be done for a very long time. Only the parents of an autistic child can understand this cost. There is no way for these families to bear the cost of using this service in a commercial organization. As a result, many autistic and disabled children are unable to return to a healthy normal life.
অলোকিতপথ একটি সেবামূলক প্রতিষ্ঠান যেখানে আমরা শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধী এবং অটিস্টিক শিশুদের জন্য কাজ করি।
এখানে শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধী এবং অটিস্টিক শিশুদের সম্পূর্ণ বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা দেওয়া হয়। আমাদের লক্ষ্য শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধী এবং অটিস্টিক শিশুদের সমাজে চলার জন্য উপযুক্ত করে গড়ে তোলা। প্রতিবন্ধী এবং অটিস্টিক শিশুদের জীবন আমাদের সেবার আলোয় আলোকিত হোক। আমরা মনে করি, বিশেষ শিশুরা আমাদের বোঝা নয়, তারা আমাদের কল্যাণ।
আমাদের যাত্রার শুরুটা একেবারেই সাদামাটা। ২০১৬ সালের মার্চ মাস থেকে আমাদের যাত্রা শুরু হয়। তখন বিভিন্ন বস্তিতে গিয়ে বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা পরামর্শ এবং ওষুধ পত্র বিতরণ করতাম আমরা। আমাদের দলে অবসরপ্রাপ্ত সরকারি কর্মকর্তা, কলেজের প্রফেসর, ব্যবসায়ী, ছাত্র সবাই মনের টানে এই সেবা মূলক কাজে সম্পৃক্ত হয়। এইভাবে দুই বছর অতিক্রম করার পর আমরা এ কাজগুলোকে আরো সুন্দরভাবে করার জন্য একটা প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক নাম দিলাম "আলোকিত পথ"। ইংরেজিতে “Enlightened Path”
আমরা অনুধাবন করলাম যে, আমাদের চারপাশে অনেক শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধী এবং অটিস্টিক শিশু আছে। তাদেরকে নিয়মিত চিকিৎসা দিতে পারলে তারা অনেকটা সুস্থ স্বাভাবিক জীবন ফিরে পেত। আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠান "আলোকিত পথ" এইসব শিশুদের নিয়ে কাজ শুরু করে জানুয়ারি ২০১৯ থেকে।
সাধারণত এই ধরনের দীর্ঘমেয়াদি চিকিৎসার খরচ অনেক দরিদ্র পরিবারের পক্ষে বহন করা সম্ভব হয় না। যার ফলে আমাদের আশেপাশে অনেক শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধী এবং অটিস্টিক শিশু একটি ভাল জীবনের সুযোগ থেকে বঞ্চিত হয়। আমাদের চেষ্টা তাদেরকে সমাজে চলার জন্য উপযুক্ত করে তৈরী করে দেওয়া।
বর্তমানে অনেক শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধী এবং অটিস্টিক শিশু আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠানে এসে অনেক উপকৃত হচ্ছে। অনেক অভিভাবকরা দাবি করেছেন আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠানের চিকিৎসা সেবাকে আরো বর্ধিত করার জন্য। আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, আমরা আমাদের সেবার পরিধি আরও বর্ধিত করতে পারবো খুব শীঘ্রই।

অদ্য ২৯/১২/২০২২ তারিখ "আলকিত পথ" সংস্থা পরিদর্শনে আসি। পরিদর্শনকালে সংস্থার চেয়ারম্যান স্কোয়াড্রন লিডার শাম্স জামান, জেনেরাল সেক্রেটারি অ্যাসোসিয়েট প্রফেসর নুরুন নেসা, সহফিজিওথেরাপিস্ট, অকুপেশনাল থেরাপিস্ট, স্পিচ থেরাপিস্ট, অভিবাবক ও অটিস্টিক শিশু এবং তাদের অভিবাবকরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। তাদের সেবা প্রদান পদ্ধতি আধুনিক ও প্রতিবন্ধীদের প্রতি সহানুভূতি খুব ভাল। সংস্থাটির উত্তরোত্তর সমবৃদ্ধি কামনা করছি।

সমাজসেবা অফিসারসমাজসেবা অফিসার শ্রদ্ধেয় মোহাম্মদ মেহফুজুর রহমান স্যার (শহর সমাজসেবা কার্যক্রম-৭) স্যারের আগমন এবং প্রাণবন্ত বক্তব্য ছিল আজকের গ্রুপ সেশনের মূল আকর্ষণ। তাদের এই বক্তব্যে অনুপ্রাণিত হয়েছে আলোকিত পথের প্রতিটি সদস্য। বিশেষ চাহিদা সম্পন্ন শিশু গুলোর জন্য সবচেয়ে বেশি দরকার সোশাল কমিউনিকেশন এবং ভাবের আদান প্রদান, যা গ্রুপ সেশন এর মাধ্যমে কার্যকর হয় সবচেয়ে বেশি। একটাই উদ্দেশ্য, এই শিশুগুলোকে সুস্থ, সুন্দর গতিশীল জীবনের দিকে ধাবিত করা।

মোহাম্মদ মেহফুজুর রহমানআলোকিত পথে ( চ্যারিটি অর্গানাইজেশন) দীর্ঘ সময় ধরে স্পিচ অ্যান্ড ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ থেরাপি দেওয়ার ফলে সুন্দর এবং সাবলীলভাবে কথা বলতে পারছে আমাদের তাহমিদ।এই সফল কাজটি করেছে স্পিচ অ্যান্ড ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ থেরাপি বিভাগের বিভাগীয় প্রধান ফাতেমা তুজ জোহরা। তিনি দীর্ঘকাল সময় ধরে তাহমিদকে নিয়ে কাজ করে আসছিলেন। পরিকল্পিত এবং পর্যায়ক্রমে সেশনের মাধ্যমে তিনি সুস্থ করে তোলেন তাহমিদকে।তাহমিদ এখন বাক্য গঠন করে কথা বলতে পারছে , তার মনের সব ভাব প্রকাশ করতে পারছে।
