Working Area of “Alokito Poth” “Alokito Poth” works with disabled and autistic children and fights against disability. The main focus of “Alokito Poth” is to ensure well-being and comfortable life-leading skills for children with autism and other disabilities.

With the combined hard work of teachers, students, government officers, and doctors, “Alokito Poth” achieved its organizational status on 5th January, 2019.
Background History The background history of “Alokito Poth” was very simple. This organization started its journey in March 2016 by providing free treatment services and medicines to disabled children from rural areas and slums. After successfully continuing these services for two years, the initiative was finally named “Alokito Poth” (in English: Enlightened Path) in 2019.
Disabled & Autistic Children and “Alokito Poth” From different research, it is known that about 10% of people in the world live with disabilities, and around 7.1% of them are children. In Bangladesh, child disability is increasing day by day. “Alokito Poth” works with disability, and its main mission is to reduce disability as much as possible and to ensure well-being and comfortable living skills for disabled children.
Always Free Treatment Services To ensure proper treatment facilities for rural and underprivileged children, “Alokito Poth” is fully committed. From 2016 to the present, “Alokito Poth” has been providing free of cost treatment services, including:
Occupational Therapy
Speech & Language Therapy
Physiotherapy
Daily living skills training
These services are provided to children with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability, Behavioral Disorders, Multiple Disabilities, and all other types of disabilities.
Future Plan “Alokito Poth” is committed to expanding its service facilities all over the country by promoting branches gradually. At present, “Alokito Poth” is in the process of achieving NGO Bureau registration. “Alokito Poth” always stands beside the disabled children of our country and works to ensure inclusive living and an inclusive society.
At present, the only branch of “Alokito Poth” is located at Uttara, Dhaka.
